Intergenerational Mentoring Program 2009-2010
As part of an ongoing plan to enhance the lives of residents at Loomis Nursing Center in Holyoke, Blessed Sacrament School students began their seventh year in an innovative program called Intergenerational Mentoring. Fourteen students visit the facility each Thursday and form close relationships with their "elder friends".

Accreditation
Blessed Sacrament School received its accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in the fall of 2004. Accreditation assures that the school fulfills its mission and meets or exceeds the standards outlined by NEASC. A comprehensive self-study and a visit by a team from the association preceded the awarding of accreditation.
