Our Catechists: Patricia Connon, Janet Sikes, Jo-Anne Wrobel, Eleanor Wehrlen
This year we have added one new member to our staff, she is Lisa Marion who will teach the fifth grade. Although she is our newest member she is no stranger to the Religious Education program. During the past few years Lisa has been an assistant to the First Communion Liturgies, the Children's Easter Pageant and has aided her husband, Fred, our Youth Music Minister at Masses. Welcome! We have also made a few changes in the teaching staff. This year Donna Edelman will teach the K-1st Grades while her husband, Glen, will teach the 2nd Grade. Prior to this year both of them taught the K-1st grade as a team. Again this year, their sons, Steven and Brian will be teacher assistants. Martin Traynor, who has taught the 8th Grade for many years has agreed to teach the 7th Grade as well. Therefore, the 7th and 8th Grades will be combined this year with one curriculum. Last, but definitely not least, Fr. Robert Thrasher, our pastor, has agreed to teach both the 9th and 10th Grades with one curriculum. We welcome him back to our teaching staff and again thank him for taking the time to join us on Monday evenings. A Final Note to all Parents: All of us here at the office of Religious Education look forward to this New Year. We again ask for your support and assistance, for you are your child's first and most important teachers of religious education. We especially ask that you take your child to Mass each weekend as well as go over your child's reading assignment each week.
