St. Mary’s Academy provides quality elementary education, to students in grades Pre-K through 8^th, from the Greater Springfield and Northern Connecticut area.  This year we celebrate 40 years of academic excellence and are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and colleges (NEASC).

It is the school’s mission to provide children with the necessary tools to develop to their full potential both academically and spiritually.  Students come from 14 communities including Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Enfield, Suffield and Springfield, providing a diverse learning environment with a challenging curriculum. 

The A.C.E. organization was founded, in 2004, by a group of St. Mary's parents, in the quest to assist the school in their mission.  The mission of A.C.E. is to provide financial assistance with program development and academic enhancements by widening our donor base to include business’ and individuals from the greater Springfield area.  A.C.E. is committed to assisting St. Mary’s Academy in its mission to be a faith filled academic institution of excellence accessible to all, by promoting and enhancing program growth.

On April 12, 2008, St Mary’s Academy will host the Fourth Annual ACE Celebration at the Marriott Hotel in Springfield from 6 - 11 PM.  The event features a complimentary bar, dinner, live and silent auctions and dancing to the music of The Floyd Patterson Band.  Our theme for the event is "A Magical Evening".  Proceeds from past years events have provided a state-of-the-art technology lab for computer education, establishment of a formal art program and enhancements to our language arts.  This year we will be raising money for a Health, Fitness and Nutrition Program focused on enhancing school services, curriculum, athletics, and infrastructure.  In today's environment with a rise in child obesity and child medical conditions, our goal is to educate our children and families on building life long habits and activities which encourage healthy living.
