Fr. Reilly opened the meeting with a prayer.
Last months meeting minutes approved.
Joan MacDonald gave her Principal's Report:
- There is a new 5th grade teacher - Catherine Kahane
- Kindergarten and Grade 1 went to Symphony Hall to see the
Magic School Bus.
- Grade 2 visited St. Anne Shrine.
- Grade 7 visited the Mashentucket Pequot Indian Museum.
- Grade 8 visited the Baystate Medical Genetics Lab.
- There is a grant from the Diocese for an Educational
Program called Child Lure's Program. There are two
videos. One, for Parents, will be shown during the
Parent-Teacher Conference days (11/10 and 11/12). There
is a second video for children which will be shown in
January. This is aimed at educating children about being
lured into dangerous situations.
- The Golf Tournament has brought in $15,950.07. It is
expected to raise $20,030 when all monies are received.
- A Silent Auction is scheduled for April 9, 2005 at
Wyckoff CC. There is a 25 person committee actively
involved in making this a success. There are 15 items
received for the auction already. There will be dinner
and a Jazz Band at the auction.
- Security System estimates are being obtained.
The Knights of Columbus ziti dinner sold 210 tickets. Proceeds
to the school were being determined at the time of this meeting.
There are 15 older computers that will be offered for $25. The
Wednesday envelopes will have more information about these.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1, at
7PM.
Fr. Reilly closed the meeting with a prayer.
