Janice Orszulak has emailed the Town of Longmeadow regarding the logistics of Bingo at the school. She has not received a reply.
Bob Nell suggested some larger signs to indicate the million dollar coin collection is ongoing. There does not seem to be enough presence.
Anne Heston reported that fundraising monies will go toward operating costs for the school.
The Knights of Columbus has started a council in the Parish. They are interested in supporting the school. A request for new computers for the lab with the current computers going to individual classrooms will be made of the Knights. Anne would also like new textbooks as part of the request. The textbooks are new this year but are consumable and new books will be needed next year.
After the Cathedral High School visit, in an open briefing, the school President mentioned the caliber of students at St. Mary's and no other schools were mentioned in the same context. This bodes well for the St. Mary's community.
Joe Monahan distributed a report from Fr. Reilly, to the parishoners, detailing the financial state of the Parish and School.
The next meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2003.
The meeting adjourned at 8:55 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Kevin Hassett, Recording Secretary
