Note: If you are not normally scheduled to work on the day a holiday falls, you are not eligible to receive pay for that day, nor do you receive a day in lieu of that holiday.

If you are on vacation during a holiday that you normally would have worked, that time will be paid as holiday time.

**July 4th is on a Saturday in 2009. Normally we would be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. Instead we will extend the New Year’s holiday through January 2, 2009.
