TRIBUNAL
The
Roman Catholic Church has its own body of law--called canon law--and
its own judicial system. The Tribunal is the Diocesan Court. While it
can hear cases involving many issues of Church law, primarily its main
work is in adjudicating questions concerning the validity of marriages.
