SPECIAL NEEDS

MULTIPLE DISABILITIES: The office for Ministry With the Deaf tries to include deaf and hard of hearing persons who are also blind, mobility impaired, etc. For questions or more information, call the office.

FOOD PANTRY:
At the monthly Prayer Service, there is a collection of food (canned goods and dry foods) that is used for deaf individuals or families who need a little extra assistance. The pantry is located at the office on Maple Street in Chicopee. Staff members deliver the food to those who need it.

SOCIAL EVENTS:
There is a local chapter of the International Catholic Deaf Association (ICDA #121) that is under the auspices of Ministry With the Deaf. They sponsor several socials (Uno games, Strawberry Social, annual Cookout, coffee and dessert after Prayer Services, etc.) For more information:

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT Any deaf person who is interested in participating in special religious programs (e.g. workshops, Retreats, Cursillo for the Deaf, etc. may obtain information from Ministry With the Deaf (413-592-4071 V/TTY)
