Fr. Benedict Groeschel, C.F.R.
Loved around the world for his bold and powerful witness to the Gospel. He has worked tirelessly with the poor and needy, spoken to tens of thousands of Catholics, and written numerous articles and books. In May 1987 he founded the community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, preaching reform within the Church and caring for the homeless in the South Bronx and Harlem sections of New York City. He is Director for the Office for Spiritual Development for the Archdiocese of New York.

 

Lorna Kelly was born and raised in England, she moved to America where at Sotheby's in New York she become the first female fine art auctioneer in the U.S. At the height of her career, she was inspired to travel to India to meet Mother Teresa and to work with the Missionaries to tend to the poorest of Calcutta. After Mother Teresa's death, Lorna was called as a witness for her canonization. Lorna's first book, The Camel Knows the Way, describes her personal journey with honesty and humor.

 

Sr. Eleanor holds a doctorate from the University of Paris, an M.A. in French Literature from Assumption College, an M.A. in Applied Spirituality from University of San Francisco and an M.A. in Theological Stufies from Harvard University Divine School. She has lectured widely on many topics, particularly Theology, spirituality and prayer. She is a well-known retreat director ministering in the United States, India, Australia, Poland and Haiti.
