Don has served as the OYM Director since September 1, 1998. He served for 9 years as a parish Coordinator of Youth Ministry in Des Moines, IA, and for 10 years as Director of the Office for Youth Ministries at the St. Joseph Educational Center in West Des Moines, IA. Since 1985, Don has served as adjunct faculty in youth leadership and adult formation/training for the Center for Ministry Development in Naugatuck, CT.
In addition to a Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, Chicago, Don holds a Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies and an Advanced Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies from the Center for Ministry Development.
Don married Candy in 1978, and they have four adult children. Don, Candy, Paddy (their dog) and Moses (their cat) reside in West Springfield.
Ángel A. Delgado, Coordinator for Latino Youth Ministry

Ángel has served as the Coordinator of Latino Youth Ministry since February 6, 2006. Prior to coming to the diocese, he worked for the State of Massachusetts Registry of Deeds at the Springfield Courthouse.
Since 1989, Ángel has served as a parish youth ministry leader at parishes in Holyoke, Amherst, Springfield and Westfield. He graduated from the H.E.L.P. program in June 1991 and later served as a teacher in and coordinator of that program. In 1995, he completed a national symposium on leadership training for Youth and Young Adult Ministry among Hispanics sponsored by the Fe y Vida Institute. He has been an editor and is currently a writer for Despertar Latino.
Ángel married Maria in 2000, and they reside with their son Alejandro in Westfield.
